Roy & Mickey Pearson founded Pearson's as an Appliance Repair business in 1954. Gradually Pearson's extended into sales to be Fairfield's largest independent appliance & TV business. At the end of the 70's, Roy was ready to pass the reins to his four sons: Roy, Steve, Dan & Pat.

In 1984 Pearson's moved to their low overhead warehouse in Cordelia at the I-80 - 680 interchange. In 1989 Pearson's bought Karlstad's Appliance & TV in Woodland and in 1994 Chandler's Appliance in Vacaville. Pearson's is now a three store multi-million dollar operation.
