This filter lasted a couple of years. The faucet assembly is totally rusted out and unusable. Probably Chinese Stainless Steel parts, eh. Very disappointed we will need to replace this unit. Will not be using GE next time.

This is the best thing we have ever done. Installing a GE Profile Series Reverse Osmosis water system. We noticed the change in the taste of our water immediately. Just knowing that the GE Profile Series Reverse Osmosis system is taking out all the harsh chemicals added to water now a days is reassuring enough. Thanks GE for this great product!!

Purchased because of the easy to change filter cartridges. great tasting water. the old style r/o system canisters/cartridges were a pain to change. These are a big improvement

I had this same product in my last house and I loved it then, so when I went shopping for a new system for a new house, I bought the same thing again. I found that I like the 3 filter system best because it's easier maintenance than the newer 5 filter, it's price point is cheaper than the one filter in my Samsung refrigerator and the water tastes better.
I didn't install it myself either time, so I wouldn't know that info. The person I hired didn't complain about it anyway.

Bought this system in October of 2016. Worked great. Changed filter per instructions, no problems. Until now. Changed filters and the unit STOPPED working. Put the old filters back in. Still NOTHING. I checked the tank it tested ok. I disconnected the whole unit.
